PROJECT DETAILS
Having overseen the production of the F1 esports series for Gfinity since it’s inception in 2017, the 2022 season became a Hang Loose production for Gfinity. With 4 events booked into the calendar, we were excited to build on the success of the series and to ensure that our content would yet again grow the F1 esports fan base.
We delivered 4 big events in 2022 and for each one we produced 3 x Qualification shows and 3 x 90 min race shows which were broadcast online and to F1’s global broadcast partners. Our passion for and expertise in the virtual racing space is unrivalled and we have a very strong relationship with F1 and the teams.
The 2022 season had to be bigger and better than the last but as the drivers were still taking part remotely, we decided we needed to bring the viewer closer to the race action so mobilised multiple remote contributions from team HQ’s with field reporters in vision to bring all the drama and stories as they unfolded. We implemented VR graphics in the studio to heighten the production value of the final, and created stand-out VT’s to build the hype for each race.
