Riot Games VCT EMEA

Riot's inaugural VCT EMEA series garnered a lot of attention across the live shows but also through their app which was designed by Collider and populated with over 70 insight-based training articles and videos created by our team of Valorant experts.

PROJECT DETAILS

In partnership with Collider, Hang Loose were tasked with writing all the articles and providing all the supporting video content for Riot’s VCT EMEA Bootcamp App. With our expert in-house knowledge on all things Valorant, we supplied over 70 insightful pieces of content across the 10 weeks of competition for the global Valorant community.

The objective of the app was to encourage more players of Valorant to watch the VCT EMEA series in order to upskill their game so we provided in depth articles focusing on teams and individual players and how they made best use of characters, maps and weapons in the game to execute a win.

Turnaround times for delivering articles and videos for the app were short. Our team had to work around the clock to deliver up to the minute content from the VCT EMEA tournament which Collider then translated into 9 languages before uploading to the App.

This was a really strong collaboration – our esports expertise combined with the strength of Collider’s App design ticked all the boxes for Riot and delivered outstanding results from an engagement perspective.
